Building with Good Shepherd Builders Takes You from Being Overwhelmed to Under Control
The process of building a custom home in the mountains is exciting, sometimes difficult to navigate, and can often get overwhelming.
Good Shepherd Builders is here to guide you through this process from the vision on the undeveloped lot to the final cleaning of your new home – we walk you through every step of the process to ensure a seamless and stress-free journey.
1
Inquiry Call - Let’s Get to Know Each Other
We meet you, hear your project goals, and we begin moving toward setting up a customized plan that meets your needs. Our process is individualized and personal, so we start with getting to know you and giving you time to get to know us.
2
Project Mapping - Get into All the Details
We discuss details about site, pre-construction needs, and any foreseeable project hurdles, set timelines, work with a collaborative design team, and discuss and move towards finalizing the budget for construction. We cover all the project elements and potential problem areas. Here we discuss plans for handling any complications and layout our communication strategy for each phase of your project. Don’t worry, you remain an active part of the team throughout the project.
3
The Build - We Get to Work and Bring You Along
After the project schedule is developed and permits are secure, it is time to break ground. As we complete each phase of the build, we will continue to meet and review progress. As your general contractor, it is our job to ensure everything is going smoothly.
4
Project Completion - Final Checks + Handing You the Keys
As we approach the end of the project, all punch list items are made to wrap up any loose ends. We will complete a final walk-through after construction is complete to review any unique protocols or functionalities of the home to enable you to confidently enjoy every aspect of your new space.
Post-Project Follow Up
Once you are settled in your home, our team will check in to see how everything is going and if you have any other questions or issues with your home.
Our goal is a lifetime of enjoying your home, and our post-project checkin ensures you do not feel abandoned in a space still new to you and your family.
