A Passion for Quality Homes Built with Honesty.

Construction has been in Nathan’s family line of work for three generations. His  father owned a masonry  business, and ever since he was young he and his  brother  would often spend their summers laboring on the job site.   During college Nathan had a blend of seasonal jobs that grew his ability to handle difficult problems and adjust, adapt and overcome. Some of these jobs included a ranch hand in Wyoming, a horseback tour guide in Yellowstone, and a fly-fishing guide in Alaska.

After graduating from college at Western Carolina University in 2014, Nathan was drawn back into the construction field and worked for a commercial general contracting company  out of Asheville. Exposure to building at a young age and then working for a commercial general contractor led  him  to launch Good Shepherd Builders.

Good Shepherd Builders  was founded on principles that take on the central aim of  building with the highest level of transparency and communication, while  giving clients peace of mind before, during and after their home is built.  Nathan enjoys sharing the vision with his clients and seeing their ideas, originally on paper, brought to reality with the final product of their new home.

In the construction processes over the past several years, Nathan has built a wide range of relationships  with the local county officials as well as many subcontractors from site work and foundations, to framing and painting, and even trim carpenters and cleaners. His strong focus of relationship  serves his clients well in the  building process.

When not building and visualizing ideas, Nathan enjoys fly fishing, bow hunting, and making his three young daughters laugh.

Good Shepherd Builders looks forward to meeting with you and getting started on your next project.
